When I happened to stumble on Laura's website, I Am Along For The Ride, I was excited (and a little nervous) to read and take up the "90 Days of Kindness" challenge she was having. You can find the details here.
I felt this challenge spoke to me about 1 specific person in my life. Someone I see and interact with every.single.day. I don't even think I could divulge who this person is right now. It will be something revealed in time.
All I know is that I'm taking up the challenge. This may be the hardest (and most necessary) challenge I've ever attempted.
Laura says that kindness is...
Kindness is radical living.
It is going the distance with people
giving hope to someone who is difficult
having manners
not bringing up others wrongs
not keeping score
promoting others
putting others first
being patient when it's really really hard
forgiving others when it's even harder
Kindness is
patient
happy with what it has
humble
slow to anger
Kindness delights in truth
Kindness always trusts
hopes
survives
I encourage YOU to take up the challenge as well. We can all use a little (well a lot!) more kindness in this world!

All 90 Days of my posts will be here.
xoxo

Can’t wait to read more as you go!
Wow Sis, this is awesome! What a great challenge for us all. I’m going to check out the details right now and join in. We will encourage each other. Thank you for letting us know!

Marie

what a great idea! I always remember how while in Hawaii people taleked about the mahalo spirit and I try to remember that here on the mainland. It really is not too hard to be nice and kind. I have spotty internet right now but when I get home I will read more on this. gracias!
I’m so sorry it’s taken me a while to comment, but I am so glad that you are up for the challenge with me! Your post is beautiful, and I feel the same way, that God will reveal the area in my life where I should focus. Thanks so much!
Love,
Laura
