Hello!
I'm linking up to the CSI Project and their CSI Paint Challenge!
I bought this ugly neon yellow pitcher at a garage sale AGES ago. It's been sitting around
collecting dust...poor thing!
I have a new found love for Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint (doesn't everyone?)
I whisked this puppy outside and sprayed her a few times.
This looks gorgeous in our newly painted and updated master vanity...
Here's a close up...
Here is yet another (poorly taken) photo of our master vanity area before...
Reminder: This is a rental (ugh!)
And here is the after...
Since this is a paint post I feel I should mention that the color of our cabinets is Bitter Chocolate from Behr and we LOVE it.
And a close up of the cabinets (with my Anthropology Urchin Knobs in turquoise)
(They are really old & ugly cabinets that were not worth the trouble to try and stain so painting them was really the best option.
This paint color looks so rich in person - the pictures don't do it justice!)
Please check out all the other paint projects over at the CSI Project website...
XOXO

Lyssie,
I used this same type paint on a kitchen redo! We painted some surrounding accessories with this paint and they look brand new! We even painted a light fixture and it now looks bronze. Love this idea!

Hello Sis – popped over from the CSI project. I love how your pitcher turned out! I can’t believe it’s the same one. You’ve inspired me to try the oil rubbed bronze! Once again, your bathroom turned looks amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Marie

Hi Lyssie! I finally found you. I wanted to thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog. I could not find a link to your blog until I say that you were Marie’s sister and then I was able to hop on over! Your pitcher turned out great! Fits in nicely with your new bathroom
I love that you painted it ORB instead of white. It looks really great!
I wish I had the patience to be really good at spray painting! I usually rush and get a drip or two. Yours looks so amazing! The pitcher thanks you for it’s new life I’m sure!
